So this might be a little confusing, but it bears sharing - the card room formerly known as Poker.com changed its name to ThePokerClub.com, and the card room currently found at the URL Poker.com is new. That said, the jury is still out on the new Poker.com.
It doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic, that's for sure. They have an affiliation with Pacific Poker, which should be a help somehow, but how? They offer 2 of 4 standard options – Holdem and Omaha (no Stud or Draw). They also have some of the standard fare: micro-limits, satellites (well, satellite, singular), freerolls. Most notably, Poker.com has an enormous section on rules of various poker and non-poker games alike, including many of the games you're likely to find at any land-based casino.
Considering you can't play most of these games at Poker.com, I have to think this section is leftover from when Poker.com used to be a poker portal. Yes, the URL, as you might expect with something so basic as www.poker.com, has been through many incarnations. This one has a few oddball but interesting features, probably also leftover from previous incarnations, like an article on how to build your own table, a link to a wine site, and poker.com official desktop wallpaper in various screen resolutions.
Ultimately, I guess this isn't a bad cardroom, it's just not a great one either.

Software & Graphics
Poker.com uses a proprietary software that is actually quite comparable to the most popular software packages that run 99% of the poker rooms out there
The interface is simple, clean, and intuitive
Gameplay is smooth
3D graphics with alternate table views looks just like the others - it's like they went over the big name games with tracing paper
Note - software makes use of Macromedia Flash, so you must also have this free program installed on your computer to properly utilize the software
