To use their own words, "BreakAway Poker was created by serious poker players to provide a higher quality place to play poker online." I guess what serious players want is a variety of card games that barely qualify as poker (or don't at all).
OK, that was mean. Break Away Poker is a decent mid-sized poker room with decent action that's far from comprehensive. Too many strange games, not enough of the standards. They do host lots of tournaments, including multi-stage tournaments and satellite for major land-based tournaments.
Pot Limit and No Limit Omaha hi & hi/lo is also a nice touch. Breakaway Poker has switched network affiliations from the Action Poker Network to My Poker Network.

Dobrosoft-powered software
Plus side - clean, crisp, smooth, and fast
Minus side - simplistic, not all that intuitive, not particularly customizable
Flat, uninteresting graphics and sound
Interestingly enough, the software does allow you to chop blinds and post live straddles - not commonly allowed by most other software-makers' games, though it should be
